Press Release – King of Prussia Gold Medal Award 2015

We are delighted to have been awarded runner-up position for this national church conservation award

The King of Prussia Gold Medal is a gift from King Frederick William IV of Prussia (1795-1816) to the Incorporated Church Building Society in 1857, for church conservation and architecture, and has been awarded annually since the early 1980s.

The winners were announced by the National Churches Trust and the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association at a ceremony held in Westminster Cathedral on 5th November 2015.

At the ceremony, Prince Nicholas von Preussen, presented us with a certificate for the major structural repairs and re-roofing project that we undertook at St Peter’s Church, East Drayton, following an infestation of death watch beetle.
