Following the RIBA Plan of Work & using the JCT Forms of Contract
As chartered RIBA architects we are highly skilled, and professionally trained to guide you through the design, planning and construction stages of your project – we realise that good design and planning in the early stages will often save you money and add value in the long term.
When looking for an architect, there are a number of things to consider – are they listed on the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and ARB (Architects Registration Board) websites, their relevant experience, suitability and even location.
If your building is historic or listed you should consider whether your architect is an Architect Accredited in Conservation (AABC) or accredited with the RIBA, this means that your professional is able to demonstrate a high level of conservation expertise.
