We all like to think we can get something for nothing, but these days that is very rare! Having been involved with many community projects that rely on fund-raising and grants or even HLF applications we are always looking for ways to support these good causes or to help them to get a project moving.
This week we were made aware of the ‘easy-fundraising’ website which goes a little way to helping good causes
It works in the following way, you sign up to your favourite cause, shop online with your favourite retailer and the retailer that you use makes a small donation to your chosen cause. Easy fundraising is completely free for good causes and supporters, it seems like a win-win situation.
You can either visit the easy fundraising website or use their app before making a purchase to ensure the donation will be collected or you can install their donation reminder, which automatically detects when you visit a retailer’s site, so you don’t have to remember to visit their website beforehand.
It is so easy and it really is getting something for nothing!
